just me.

well first off why dont i just say who i am and why i am blogging. i am courtney, a student at college of coastal georgia and i am trying to get my associates degree in culinary arts. right now i am trying to work my way up and eventually get a great job as a pastry chef on a cruise ship so i can bake all around the world. but first i have to start, thats right, at the bottom. at the beginning of the summer i got offered a internship for a pastry chef at the jekyll island club hotel.. and of course because i didnt have enough experience i didnt get it. so i am working at mcdonalds as a cook trying to get enough experience so that i can go and get a job at at a sit down restaurant or bakery so that i can get the experience that i need to get the internship next year... maybe. i am also going to classes trying to learn as much as possible while i can. this summer im going to take a baking class so that can help a little more with the experience. so this blog is to tell how i get from working at mcdonalds to working on a cruise ship. all the steps to get there (even the little baby ones)... what classes to take what jobs i have to go through all of it..
